Hey friends! Welcome to my journal. I love having a space where I can share ideas and reflect on my work. Here you'll find collections of my recent sessions, as well as tips and suggestions for styling, session preparation, & more!
As a family photographer, it is important for me to be flexible because let’s be real – life doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes we need to adjust accordingly. That is why I love having the best of both worlds as my backdrop – my studio and the great outdoors. Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate and luckily I have the studio to fall back on if need be. A studio & outdoor combination session sometimes ends up working out wonderfully!
Having the studio is convenient in case of a weather emergency, but it is also nice to purposely utilize both 🙂 I love when clients choose a studio & outdoor combination session. This works especially nicely when clients book a full 1.5 hour session. It gives us the time to utilize the studio as well as take really great shots outside, thus having the best of both worlds!
Studio & Outdoor Maternity Session
This winter I had the opportunity to photograph a mother-to-be who decided to do a studio & outdoor combination session with her family. We took really beautiful outdoor shots at the Ramapo Reservation with snow on the ground. It truly looked like a winter wonderland! Once the family decided it was time to escape the cold and stop trudging in the snow, we moved indoors to the coziness of the studio! I seamlessly captured the special moment of waiting for the newest addition of this family in both settings.
If you are interested in capturing memories of your family both indoors and out, then a studio & outdoor combination session is right for you! Reach out to set up one of these sessions today. I am always ready for both the outdoors and welcoming you into my studio!
Beautiful! 😍
