I love a good styled family session, where you do not have to do any of the work! For a styled family session, we can firstly have a pre-session meeting or phone call where we can discuss what you have in mind, and plan out your outfit(s) ahead of time. Sometimes just having a second opinion on your ideas is all you need! On the day of your session, if you chose a piece from my wardrobe you don’t even have to do anything but show up and get dressed! I will have your outfit(s) pressed and ready to go! My studio space is your home away from home. Whatever you need I will gladly provide. From the clothes to toys to keep the kids busy while you get ready, I have it all here for your convenience. 

Outdoor Styled Family Session

I had the pleasure of styling one of Emily Photography’s own, Nicole, for a family shoot I did for her this past spring. She wore a beautiful dress from the Emily Photography wardrobe – a subtle, neutral floral dress with a pretty open back. It was the perfect color for spring. In addition to the dress selection, I helped her decide on coordinating outfits for her boys.  One tip I like to give clients is to select outfits that compliment each other, not directly match.  Having too much of one color can be too overwhelming. Choosing complimentary colors or having colors within the same family makes the overall picture look better, rather than having one big blob of the same color in a photo!
