If you know me, you know I love the outdoors, especially when it comes to photography sessions. Every year I have the honor of capturing a handful of weddings. Most of them had the majority of their photographs taken outside or have even held the reception outside. As many of the clients know, my goal is to provide natural, organic & emotional portraiture that tells their story. Outdoor weddings definitely provide the natural backdrop and lighting that a photographer like me LOVES.  If I had to choose a particular style that I liked the most, it would have to be natural & artistic rustic outdoor wedding photography!

I had the pleasure of capturing a very special someone’s wedding day up at West Song Farm in upstate NY this past summer. Emily Photography’s own – our stylist , Cassidy, married the love of her life at the most beautiful place. Surrounded by the green countryside and beautiful weather, this venue did not disappoint. The proof of its beauty and the beautiful couple’s love for one another is in the photographs!

Rustic Outdoor Wedding Photography at NY Farm

The bride and groom incorporated details throughout the wedding that were fit for a rustic outdoor wedding. From a wheelbarrow full of floral arrangements, to the cutest bud-vase table seating chart, Cassidy was very creative in her details. She even had the most beautiful white cowgirl boots, perfect for dancing at her reception. This rustic white fence that outlined the property made for a perfect photo opportunity, along with the big red barn where the couple shared their vows. Everything about this wedding was stunning and just gorgeous!
