Being a family and newborn photographer is my specialty, but that never stops me from being creative or shooting different types of sessions if someone inquires. A new client came into the studio recently on a whim and asked if I could do a woman empowerment shoot in NJ. If there’s one thing I am all about, it’s women empowering women, so I of course said yes!

Behind the Scenes: Women Empowerment Shoot

This client opted for the full experience, which I was so excited for! Nothing makes me happier than helping a client feel beautiful inside and out. From selecting studio wardrobe, to being glammed up by our stylist Stephenie, this client was ALL IN! While she got her hair & makeup done, Nicole and I organized & steamed her outfits for the session. Just by the good vibes in the studio, I could tell that this women empowerment shoot was going to be one to remember! 

For the session itself, we did a combination of looks in the studio and then at the Ramapo Reservation. This client came with a vision in mind. Being in a flowy dress in the water was one of them. We got VERY adventurous and took photographs IN the lake! With every shoot, my goal is to execute it to the best of my ability! I think the proof is in the photos! Nicole came along for the ride and took some behind the scenes footage and kept us on task with all the shots the client wanted. Having an extra set of eyes and some encouragement for the client (and me!) was so helpful. All three of us had such a blast during this shoot. We are amazed at how incredible the gallery turned out!
