When you think about taking photos with your new baby, your mind usually goes right to being indoors or in the baby’s nursery. However, there’s no rule that says you can’t take photos outdoors with your baby too! A combination newborn session is always an option at Emily Photography. I love photographing you and your family both outdoors and indoors–wherever you feel most comfortable and relaxed!

If you know me, you know I love nature and going on adventures. I think there’s nothing more special than capturing your greatest adventure of your life both indoors and out! As long as the baby is content and you are able to have your baby gear handy, doing outdoor shots can work out very nicely. Whether it’s for a few shots or half of your session, we can definitely take photographs of you and your baby outside as long as the weather is good and there are pockets of shade in the area. Most importantly, we do whatever makes you comfortable. With a fully stocked studio, I can always bring blankets or baskets for the baby to go in, both indoors and out. I am always happy to do both for you!!

NJ Mom Opts for Combination Newborn Session

I had the pleasure of capturing this sweet new mom and her precious baby boy in the studio recently. She did a combination newborn session. She decided to do a variety of posed newborn shots inside with various props and swaddles. Then we took photos of her and the baby outdoors. The weather was beautiful that day, so we found a perfect spot near trees just outside my studio. I love the way the photos came out in both locations!
