Over the past few years, I’ve done the Flower Field Experience at Abma’s Farm in Wyckoff NJ in the month of August to early September. This is a great opportunity for photos and summer fun with the family! If you love flowers, it’s even better! You get to wander among the beautiful variety of blooms and hand-pick your own bouquet. 

Flower Field Family Fun

We had so many families over the years return for this wonderful experience. The kids enjoy being able to choose their own flowers and of course, get a little dirt on their hands! As a family photographer and mother of four of my own, I always say to let the kids just be kids. Let them explore and play. The Flower Field Experience at Abma’s Farm is a great choice for children who love the outdoors (especially the farm!). You can take your photos and then head on up to the barnyard for some more family fun! 

A Family Legacy – Honoring Jim Abma

This year in particular, I had the incredible honor of capturing the late Jim Abma’s family among the last of the flower fields he had a hand in growing. It was so special to take these photos for their growing family – at the place they call home. For them, this is more than just a photo shoot among the flowers, it’s a legacy that will live on forever.
